Sharp Zaurus Add-on Software Installer

Overview

When installing Zaurus add-on software to a flash card, it has been
necessary to have a significant amount of main memory available before
you could install to the flash card. For users with a large amount of 
data in their Zaurus, this meant backing up their data to their PC or 
a flash card, clearing the unit, installing the add-on software, and 
then restoring their data. This could be a rather time consuming process.

This new version of the Sharp Zaurus Add-on Software Installer allows you
to install Zaurus add-on software directly to a flash card with only a 
small amount of main memory available, generally eliminating the need to
go through the process described above.

Use

To use the new installer with any add-on software you may already have
(or purchase in the near future, since current dealer stock may have an 
older installer), simply copy INSTALL.EXE and FLASINST.DAT to your add-on 
software diskette and then perform a normal installation. INSTALL.EXE will 
overwrite the old INSTALL.EXE (FLASINST.DAT is new). We strongly suggest 
you make a backup copy of the original add-on software diskette and copy 
the new installer files to the backup copy (and install the add-on software 
from the backup copy of course). If the installer on the add-on software
diskette is newer (later date) than this version of the installer, DO NOT
overwrite it.
