Paint Program for Windows CE

Create pictures and edit images with a pocket-sized version of the Windows 95 Paint program. Paint for Windows CE works just like Paint for Windows 95 on your desktop computer. For instructions, refer to your Windows 95 Help or print documentation.

Cascading Menus

Get instant access to all your files and folder in cascading and scrolling menus. After you install the Cascading Menus program, an icon will appear on the Tray of your Taskbar on your Handheld PC. When this icon is tapped, it presents a sorted list of files in the \Windows\Start Menu folder, providing a quick way to browse subfolders, launch files, and explore folders from your Windows CE desktop.

Drag the files, folders, or shortcuts you'd like to see on the menu to the Windows\Start Menu folder. The files and folders you place in the Start Menu folder will be accessible in scrolling lists that appear when you tap the Cascading Menus icon.

To browse subfolders

  • On the Cascading menu, tap the folder. The Cascading menu will display a submenu showing the contents of the folder.
To launch a file
  • On the Cascading menu, tap the file.
To explore folders
  • Hold CTRL while you tap the folder. Windows CE will open the actual folder in Explorer view.

Note: The Cascading menu applies the settings you select using Options on the View menu of the Windows CE Explorer.
