This is the COMPLETE! New York City Subway map in Image Viewer format.

The complete set of version 2.2 includes these six (6) files:

bronx.pdb   (bronx subway map)
key.pdb     (key/legend for maps)
manhatt.pdb (manhattan subway map)
north.pdb   (mostly queens subway map)
south.pdb   (mostly brooklyn subway map)
readme.txt  (this file)

The most recent version of the COMPLETE! New York City Subway map can
always be obtained from: http://198.70.114.128/stinger/listapps.cfm
(you'll need to choose the 'graphics' category)

These maps are designed for use on the USRobotics PalmPilot.  If you
don't know what that is, you can check out: http://www.usr.com/palm

These maps (all .pdb files) can only be viewed on the PalmPilot using
Image Viewer by Art Dahm.  If you would like to obtain a copy of the
shareware version of Image Viewer, check out the Image Viewer page at:

Revision History:

v.1.0
This version was never publicly released.  It was only for a private,
very limited distribution for beta testing, etc.

v.2.0
This is actually the initial public release.  I haven't really tried
tweaking with the image in an attempt to decrease the file size yet.

v.2.2
That is what this (current) version is.  I have successfully decreased
the total file size by 19,650 bytes.  Although it may not sound like
much, on the PalmPilot that's roughly enough room for another map!

Looking to the Future:

I will attempt to further reduce the size of the maps in the future.
Reducing the size of the maps without losing image detail is pretty
tricky but I think I can do it if I play with it just a little more...
