Palmeta Software announces the Beta 2 Evaluation version of Palmeta Mail v1.0.

Palmeta Mail v1.0 is a new software product that email-enables the U.S. Robotics Pilot palmtop computer by providing a bridge between your Windows 95 desktop PC and the Pilot's Memo Pad application.

Palmeta Mail v1.0 leverages the power of Microsoft Exchange 4.0 to enable Pilot users to send and receive electronic mail using any MAPI-enabled mail system, including the built-in Windows 95 Microsoft Mail, Microsoft Fax, and Internet Mail interfaces, as well as third party MAPI mail systems (Lotus Notes v4.0, v4.1; Eudora Pro v2.2, v3; etc.).

By integrating into the U.S. Robotics HotSync desktop conduit architecture, Palmeta Mail v1.0 allows your Pilot to become a palmtop extension of your desktop computer's Inbox and Outbox.
