Pilot Product Advisory Problem: Future To Do dates are off by one day on Pilot Desktop after daylight savings time change. Application(s) affected: Pilot Desktop To Do application (PC only) Pilot/Pilot Desktop version affected: Pilot Desktop software v 1.0 (PC only, all language versions). Symptoms: To Do items which have been created with due dates occurring AFTER the Daylight Savings Time/Standard Time time change will appear to be due one day off when they appear. The time change is correctly detected but incorrectly applied to To Do items with future due dates. This problem does not occur on the Pilot, and only occurs in the To Do application on the Pilot Desktop. It only affects to-do items created before the daylight savings time change AND which have due dates occurring after the daylight savings time change. Impact on system and data: None other than due To Do items off by 1 day. Solution: Replace the TODO.DLL file shipped with your Pilot with the new TODO.DLL dated 9/16/96. This is a simple file copy and requires no special installation process. The new TODO.DLL file is available via the Pilot WEB page (http://www.usr.com/palm), our AOL forum (Keyword PILOT), our Compuserve forum (GO PALMB>Palm Computing/USR software area), and on diskette by request to our Pilot phone support center: 1-847-676-1441. We regret any inconvenience this problem has caused and appreciate your continued support of our Pilot products.
