GolfTrac is available in 2 versions: GolfTrac & GolfTrac-Lite

GolfTrac-Lite is the Freeware version of GolfTrac. All the functionality of GolfTrac is there, with limited database capacity. GolfTrac-Lite does not allow the user to save more than one golf course or one round of golf. Upgrading to GolfTrac is easy. All you need is a registration code.

GolfTrac is commercial software. With it you will receive a registration code. Registration codes are user specific. The key or serial number is generated from the Pilot HotSync name. If you totally erase your Pilot, or upgrade your Pilot, make sure that you give it the same name or your serial number will no longer be valid.

Steps to Register

Launch GolfTrac -

Enter the activation code provided by Fighter Pilot software. Make sure you enter the code EXACTLY as provided including all letters, numbers, dashes and/or spaces. Failure to do so will result in the application locking itself, rendering it unusable.

If you choose cancel, GolfTrac will convert to GolfTrac-Lite. Locking the databases and allowing access to only one round and one golf course at a time.

After 3 failed attempts, GolfTrac will internally lock itself, forcing you to delete it and reinstall it.

Steps to Upgrade from GolfTrac-Lite

To upgrade from GolfTrac-Lite, choose the menu option "About GolfTrac" from the first screen. From the "About Box screen" choose the menu option "Enter Activation Code".

Enter the activation code to convert from GolfTrac-Lite to the full version.
