The Course Setup Screen is used to Create or Edit a course record in the course database. Courses are kept in a separate database to facilitate reuse. You only need to enter your favorite courses one time.

1) Course Name: Up to 20 characters, REQUIRED Enter the name of the course here, abbreviate if necessary.

2) Course Notes: Up to 60 characters, use this for whatever you see fit. (Greens Fees, difficulty, etc.) OPTIONAL

3) Rating: Personal Rating, use anything you like (up to 5 characters) OPTIONAL

4) Other: Another optional field, this can be used for course difficulty, a handicap adjustment value, etc. OPTIONAL.

Handicaps will not be calculated in version 1.1.

5) TeeOff From: Choose the Tees for this course. If you play the same course from multiple Tee's you will actually end up with different course records for each set of tees. This facilitates different course lengths from each tee. The Tees are appended to the name of the course so you'll know which record you need when choosing a course.

We realize that there are many different Tee types and colors. Some courses have 3 Tees (Yellow, White, Blue), while others have 5 (Back, Blue, Red, White, Yellow.) You can decide which colors to associate with the labels we have provided.

6) Last Played: This is the date the course record was last used. When you create a course it will default to the creation date.
