theGolfScore is a pilot application designed to function as a score card used during a round of golf. While the application is freeware, a donation to a worthy charity would be greatly appreciated. The commercial distribution of this application is restricted, but feel free to distribute copies to your friends. Instructions: To score a round of golf, first enter the initials of the players. Then hit the 'Next' button. The scoring has been set up in two separate pages. The first page is for the front 9 holes. The second page is for the back 9 holes. To move from one page to the other, use the 'Next' or 'Back' button at the bottom right corner of the screen. To record a score, highlight the score by tapping on it. There are two ways to enter the score. One way is to tap on a number at the bottom of the screen. The other way is to use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the highlighted score. To record a new round of golf, use the menu and select 'Score New Round'. There are a number of other features that I would like to incorporate into this application. These new features would include handicap scoring, recording number of putts per hole and drives onto fairway, incorporating the golf course information (such as yardage, number of strokes for par and possibly the option of displaying a small bitmap picture of each hole) and downloading information for storage on the PC.
