Shareware Registration Information

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGISTERED AND UNREGISTERED VERSIONS?

  - The unregistered version of Hearts/LX will not save scores and
    statistics between runs.

  - The unregistered version will not let you change the rules
    options, either in the program or via the configuration file.

  - The unregistered version shows "UNREGISTERED" on the title bar,
    and shows a reminder screen upon exit.


HOW MUCH DOES REGISTRATION COST?

  Registration of Hearts/LX costs $10 USD.


REGISTERING ON-LINE

  If you have a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express)
  and access to the World-Wide Web, you can register on-line.  On-line
  registration is easy and fast -- your registration code will be sent
  as soon as I get confirmation of your payment, often within 24
  hours.  To register on-line, point your Web browser at:

  A secure form is provided for Web browsers that can use it.


REGISTERING BY MAIL

  To register by mail, send a check or money order made out to "Rob
  Tillotson" to the following address.  A registration form is
  provided below for your convenience:

  Because of the difficulties involved in handling foreign checks, I
  can only accept checks and money orders drawn on a US bank, in US
  funds.


OTHER METHODS OF REGISTRATION

  If neither of the payment methods described above is appropriate,
  please feel free to contact me to arrange something else -- it is
  possible, but difficult, for me to handle credit card registrations
  by mail, US-currency checks from foreign banks, etc.
