The Search Panel
                             ================

        The "Search Panel" is used to to define information that is  to  be
 matched in the bowler database.  The search panel itself is a blank BOWLER
 INFORMATION  window  that  is  filled  with  the search information.  When
 matched, the entire bowler record will be displayed and ready  for  action
 which is dependant on the menu item selected.

        For example, to  delete  bowlers  on  a  specific  team,  move  the
 highlight to the "Team" field via the +/- or cursor up/down arrow keys and
 press  the  "Enter"  or  "Return"  key.  This selects team as the field in
 which to search. Next, enter the name of the team that has bowlers  to  be
 deleted  (for  this example, "PINBUSTERS" will be assumed).  BowlStat will
 search through the bowler database and display any  bowlers  that  "match"
 with the team name of "PINBUSTERS".

        Once  a  match  has  been found, BowlStat will request confirmation
 before deleting the bowler record: "MATCHED! Delete Data? (Y/N):". If  the
 data  for this bowler is to be deleted, press "Y" (yes) and the "Enter" or
 "Return" key.  The data will be deleted and BowlStat  will  continue  it's
 search for additional datbase matches.

        When  entering  search information, keep in mind that BowlStat will
 match all characters that are entered. In the above  example,  a  name  of
 "PIN"  would  have  matched bowlers on the teams "PINHEADS", "PINBOYS" and
 "PINNERS" - because all start with "PIN". Therefore, to limit  the  number
 of possible matches, enter as much information as possible.


 Notes:  To  exit  the  search  panel,  press the "ESC" (escape) key at the
         confirmation prompt.
