         The PC-TED distribution diskette which contains a copy of the
         manual and the editor program may be freely copied and shared.
         However, neither may be shared separately nor may printed copies
         of the manual be reproduced or shared without the permission of
         the author.  For more information please see the PC-TED User

                                DISCRIPTION
                                

         PC-TED is a text editor written for programmers and anyone 
         who must maintain text files.  PC-TED can process two files 
         at the same time, has full horizontal/vertical screen 
         editing, file comparison, find/replace functions, block
         manipulation functions, an ASCII table, hex/dec calculator,
         byte-editor, help screens, DOS exit, allows file selection 
         from directory, help function and other features.  PC-TED 
         is contained in a single disk file, is very fast and can be
         customized with CUSTED.EXE.
