Disk No: 818 Program Title: DFSTICKL version 1.4 and XCUTE PC-SIG version: 1.5 DFSTICKL is a simple and useful calendar program designed to display certain memos that you entered previously on certain dates. Once the program is executed, the screen immediately shows you any memos for that particular day. The date is read from DOS. This program can be operated on both a floppy and hard disk, but it is more convenient to operate it on the latter. It can be executed quickly by putting this file in an AUTOEXEC.BAT file, so that the memos for that day will be displayed upon start up. One can then exit quickly back to DOS. DFSTICKL is designed to remind you of personal priorities, important dates, and things that need to be done for the day. There is a "nag" option which will nag you about a certain memo 5 days prior to the date or deadline. With this program you can add, edit, delete, and display the memos entered into the program. The menus are very quick and easy to operate. This program is very useful not only for personal use, but also for leaving memos to other people who use the same computer. XCUTE is a utility that will execute any program in any directory or subdirectory. You can immediately go from application to application in different directories just by typing the name of the program, or even a partial name if you have forgotten the whole name. If there are several programs that match your partial entry, XCUTE will list each matching program individually and will ask you if that is the program you wish to execute. When using a hard disk and thousands of programs, XCUTE will do the work of finding where your program is, and will execute it if you so desire. Usage: Utilities Special Requirements: None.
