                VIEWING A COMPLETED PEN PAL LETTER 



  Once  a  friend  or  associate  has completed a Pen Pal letter, 
questionnaire, or interview, you  may  examine  it  whenever  you
like.   You  need  only select the option to "Read A Returned Pen
Pal Letter" from the main menu of the program.  

  You  may  notice  that  the  program  might  be  rather slow in 
displaying material on your screen.  If that  happens,  it  means
that  you  do not have the high speed math chip installed on your
computer system. 

  We  want  you  to know that all Pen Pal letters, questionnaires
and interviews ... and responses to them ... are encrypted by use 
of a very sophisticated technique that is based  on  mathematical
procedures.   While  that  is  costly  in terms of speed, it also 
provides  you  with  superior  data  encryption  and  information
security.   The  speed of the program will be quite acceptable if
you install a math chip.  We highly recommend that you do that if
you are going to make heavy use of this program.


                      AVOIDING PRYING EYES 

  If  you  are  reading  a  truly  sensitive  letter  or  a  very
confidential  questionnaire,  you may not want someone to walk by
and read the material on screen.  There is a very powerful way to
avoid that.  Just tap the Esc key once!  If you press the Esc key 
at any time while entering a response, you  will  be  immediately
taken  out  of  the  questionnaire  and the program.  The Esc key 
returns you immediately to DOS.   Most  important,  the  Esc  key
blanks the screen immediately!
