  The  FREEUSE  Version of The WALMYR Pen Pal may be used without
fee for as long you wish.  However, if you have not purchased the 
program, anyone can read your mail as long as they  also  have  a
FREEUSE  Version  of  the program.  If you decide to purchase the 
program, a password of your choosing will be used to encrypt  all
of  your  letters,  questionnaires and interviews ... and then NO 
ONE can read your mail except you ... and those to whom you  give
a  copy  of  your  personalized program.  In other words, you may 
copy the program at will and you may give it to anyone who  would
like a copy.  

  THE ONLY RESTRICTIONS ARE ... YOU MAY NOT SELL THE PROGRAM, YOU
MAY  NOT  CHARGE  A  FEE  FOR  ITS USE, AND YOU MAY NOT ALTER THE
PROGRAM OR ITS DOCUMENTATION IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER.



                      LIMITED WARRANTY AND
                  TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. All sales of The WALMYR Pen Pal program are final.

2. You may copy and distribute the program in any manner that you
wish provided that you do not sell the program, you do not charge 
a fee for the use of the program, and you do  not  alter  in  any
manner whatsoever either the program or its documentation.

3.  All  software  found to have a diskette medium defect will be
repaired or replaced by WALMYR Publishing Co. at NO CHARGE to the 
customer, if it is returned within 30 days of  the  date  it  was
shipped.  

4. WALMYR Publishing Co. reserves the right  to  discontinue  any
product and any medium format at any time without notice. 

5. WALMYR PUBLISHING CO. MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS  OR  WARRANTIES
WITH  RESPECT  TO  THE PRODUCTS THAT IT PROVIDES AND SPECIFICALLY 
DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF  MERCHANTABILITY  OR  FITNESS
FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  WALMYR PUBLISHING COMPANY SHALL HAVE
NO LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT
FOR   COMPENSATORY,   SPECIAL,   INCIDENTAL,   CONSEQUENTIAL,  OR 
EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.  WALMYR PUBLISHING CO.'S SOLE LIABILITY  SHALL
BE  LIMITED  TO  THE  PURCHASE  PRICE  OF  THE  SOFTWARE LICENSED
HEREUNDER.


                     PROTECT YOUR PASSWORDS   

  If you decide  to  acquire  one  or  more  passwords  from  the
publisher,  be  sure  to  store  them  in a secure place.  If you 
forget or lose your passwords you will not be able  to  use  your
personalized  copy  of the program.  Once your password order has
been filled the publisher destroys the passwords that you supply.
WE DO NOT KEEP RECORDS OF USER PASSWORDS.


                      PASSWORD DISCLOSURE 

  No password will be disclosed unless you send to the  publisher
your  original  program  diskette  and provide notarized proof of
identification.  In addition, the Publisher will charge $25.00 to
disclose each lost or forgotten password.
