    GETTING STARTED

    Before you begin there are a few things that you need to be aware of.
    Some of the files on this distribution diskette are in what is known as
    "archived" format.  These archived files are actually collections of
    one or more files that have been compressed and put into a library in
    order to save disk storage.  These files need to be un-archived before
    they can be used.  Libraries of archived files often have the extension
    .ARC; however, the archived files on this diskette are self-extracting
    and have the extension .EXE.

    FLOPPY DISK INSTALLATION

    1-  Format 2 diskettes. Label one PROGRAM and one DOCUMENT.

    2-  Place the distribution diskette in drive A: and type the
        following:

            A: [Enter]

    3-  If you have 2 floppy drives on your machine, type the following:

            INSTALL2 [Enter]

        If you have 1 floppy drive on your machine, type the following:

            INSTALL1 [Enter]

    4-  Follow the instructions on your screen.

    HARD DISK INSTALLATION

    1-  Make your hard disk your active drive by entering the
        following:

            C: [Enter]   (Use your drive letter if it is not C:)

    2-  Place the distribution diskette in drive A: and type the
        following:

            CD \ [Enter]
            MD PROCOMM [Enter]
            CD PROCOMM [Enter]
            A:HINSTALL [Enter]

    3-  Follow the instructions on your screen.
