Program Name: Trivial Towers Version: 1.0 Author: Vinyard Software Inc. 2243 Beacon Lane Falls Church, VA. 22043-1709 Suggested Donation: $20 The Program Trivial Towers is for anyone who wishes to test their knowlege in any area of trivia. The program allows the user to create trivia questions of any kind and save them to disk for future use. Anywhere from 2 to 4 players can play at once. The computer automatically rolls one die and gives the user the choice of moving clockwise or counterclockwise. The user may then choose the direction he wishes to move. There are special wild-card blocks on the board that enable the user to choode any topic of his choice. This game follows the game Trivial Pursuit in a computerized way. The only problem that I found with this program, is that it does not redraw the game- board. When entering an answer, if the computer came back with the response "reenter?", the screen would move up one line. After a few of these the gameboard is extremely confusing. I found that it is much easier to choose your answer and just press return, then decide whether or not your answer is close enough to the computers answer. The most simplistic way I found to boot up this software is to put your DOS disk in drive A:, boot up, type B:, put the Trivial Towers disk in drive B:, type A:BASICA. Then follow the programs prompts. There are two files that you should print out. They are TTSHARE.DOC and TTNOTE.BAS. TTNOTE.BAS is a program that is written to auto- matically print out on your printer. TTSHARE.DOC you can just type out in DOS. The only requirement for this program is a color monitor. The gameboard is in color and it would be hard to tell what subject you are on.
