This `Family History System'-- of which this is the first of a two disk
set -- is noteworthy among computerized genealogy programs for its
modular design, use of Fixed Formatted screen displays, and thorough use
of function keys.  The system uses a set of `linked random access'
datasets for storing information about individuals, including all family
relationships.  No limits are placed upon the number of relationships
that may exist for each individual or for the number of generations of
ancestors or descendants that may be recorded.  Information for up to
3200 individuals may be stored on a single DS/DD diskette (up to 9999 on
a hard disk).  The system produces Ancestor, Descendant, and Family
Group reports and Ancestor (tree) Charts.  Blank worksheets and charts
may be produced for recording information for entry into the system.

This, the first of a two disk set (disk 2 on DISK 632), contains the 38
page manual, the interpreted BASIC versions of the programs, and
installation utilities..  DISK 632 contains the compiled versions of the
programs and a set of sample files built using the descendents of Adam
as recorded in the book of Genesis in the Bible.
