Bigevent(tm) is a shareware program which serves as an
Early Warning System to notify you of upcoming big events.

It is distributed on bulletin boards in a 'ZIP'  archival format
and by 5.25" floppy disk in the form of a self-extracting 'ZIP' file.
That file was produced with PKWare's PKZIP  and zip2exe utilities.

    If you propagate this shareware either by floppy or by modem, please
leave the file BGE001.ZIP/BGE001.EXE in tact.  This will insure that all
the files associated with BigEvent remain together.  Also, please include
this read.me file with it.


Once BGE001.EXE is executed, it will produce the following files:

1.  bgevnt.exe...........the unregistered BigEvent program file.
2.  bgevnt.doc...........a document file describing how to use BigEvent and
                         how to build your own data file.  You can print this
                         file by typing PRINT A:BGEVNT.DOC.
3.  bgcnfg.exe...........an executable configuration program which will allow
                         you to customize BigEvent's colors and turn on or off
                         the sound portion of the program.  The program will
                         prompt you for inputs.  Just make  sure that
                         bgevnt.exe is in the same directory as bgcnfg.exe
                         is when you run the program.  This program works
                         correctly only with the registered version of
                         BigEvent.
4.  demo.bat.............a batch file which will demonstrate the features
                         of the program.
5.  sample.dat...........a sample data file of big events.
