PC-DEAL requires an IBM PC/XT/AT, PS/2 or compatible microcomputer; 256 KB
of RAM; two 5.25", one 3.5" diskette drive(s), or a hard disk; MS-DOS 2.1
or above.

Before proceeding further make working copy of this disk and store the
original in a safe place.

The PC-DEAL Users Guide may be reviewed and printed using the program
GUIDE.  This is the recommended procedure for printing the on-disk manual. 
To review the Users Guide place your working disk in drive A and enter the
command GUIDE at the A> prompt.

The instructions for installation of PC-DEAL are to be found on page 3 of
the READ.ME2 file and in the Users Guide Part 1, page 8.

The PC-DEAL disk contains a sample ledger DEMO which may be used to become
familiar with PC-DEAL before creating your own.  The command for executing
the program is DEAL.
