Welcome to MINIMAX, the full featured, no hassle ASCII editor with the
maximum benifits and use for the minimum trouble and cost.

Minimax is ideal for editing and creating batch files and texts for desktop
publishing, presentation, graphics programs, spreadsheet and database
reports. Minimax may also be used on a laptop or portable computer as a note
and memo editor.

Minimax is distributed as user supported software. This means that you may
try the program on your computer at your convenience. If you like the program
we request that you send in the $15.00 registration fee. Registered users
receive a complete manual, a registered copy of the program, free upgrades, free phone support and discounts on other LGI products.

			Using MINIMAX
			
Minimax is EASY to USE !

Minimax is FAST !

To start Minimax, type mm at the prompt. Press any key to exit the title
screen and enter directly into the editor.

You may begin new files by just starting to type. When you are ready to store
the file on disc, press F2 and a filename window will pop up. Type in the
file name and optional path, press enter and its filed.

To edit an existing file, press F3 and a file name window will appear. Type
in a file name or press <ENTER> for a directory. After editing is complete
press F2 to refile under the original (default) filename.

F1 will call up a complete help system.

Pressing F8 will pop up an auxiliary editor which will allow you to edit a
second file without exiting the main editor. You may open as many auxiliary
editors as your computer's memory allows. F2 will file the auxiliary text to
disk while F10 will exit each Auxiliary editor in turn.

Pressing F7 will call up an auxiliary editor from which you may copy blocks
of text to the main window (at the last cursor position).

Control-F5 allows you to copy blocks of text within the main window.

Alt-F7 will deleat blocks within the main window.
