Thank you for trying this disk.  We hope that it will be of use 
to you either as a reference or as an aid in corresponding with 
your elected and appointed officials.

The disk was designed especially for users of WordPerfect and 
WordPerfect's mail-merge system.  If you want to send letters to 
members of the U. S. Congress or to California Senators and 
Assembly members then all you have to do is type your master 
letter and you are ready  to go.  I have written to my state and 
federal representatives to make sure the information is as up to 
date as possible.

disk at no charge at the next election and be notified of our new 
computerized card file system (when available) for easy access 
to the names and addresses of your favorite politicians.

There are 18 programs on this disk not counting this one.  The 
first eight require access through WordPerfect and the others can 
be accessed either through WordPerfect or by entering "type (name 
of program)" and "enter".

The first eight are:

1.  SENATORS---This is a mail-merge ready disk for all the 
members of the U. S. Senate.  Everything has been coded so all 
you have to do is write your master letter and set the merge 
process in operation.  

2.  REPS---This is the same as above except it has the 
names of the members of the U. S. House of Representatives.

3.  STATESEN---Ditto for members of the California State 
Senate.

4. STATEREP---Ditto for members of California State 
Legislature.

5. SENPHONE--- lists all the members of the United States 
Senate with their party affiliations and phone numbers.

6. REPPHONE--- ditto for members of U. S. House of 
Representatives.

7. EXECUTIV--- is a list of phone numbers for the president, 
his cabinet and other high officials.

8. COMMISI--- is a phone list for the heads of the numerous 
California boards and commissions.

The following programs can be accessed with or without the use of 
WordPerfect:

1. STATEBOARD--- gives names and addresses for California 
Boards and Commissions.  

2. GOVERNORS--- is a list of the states, the state capitals 
and the governors for each.

3. MAYORS--- lists the mayor or city manager for most of the 
major California cities.  

4. CALIFCOU--- gives names and addresses for members of the 
California Supreme Court.

5. CABINET--- gives the names and addresses of the president, 
his cabinet and heads of numerous other important executive 
offices.

6. SUPREME---gives the names, addresses and phone #'s for 
members of the U. S. Supreme Court.

7. GOVOFF--- is a list of the State of California elected 
officers with their addresses and phone #'s.

8. CALDEPT--- has the names, addresses and phone #'s of the 
heads of the various California State departments.

9.  STSENPH.  This is a list of names, party affiliations and 
phone numbers for members of the California State Senate.

10. STREPPH.  Same as above except it is for the members of the 
California House of Representatives.
