Dear User:

Additional features for XPORT Shareware Version 1.3b now include
the following:

1) Support for four ports, COM1 through COM4.

2) Two command line options, /Sx and /Px, used to specify a slower
speed and to force XPORT to use a particular port instead of scanning
all available ports. The ability to select a slower speed is of
particular importance to users who may have a serial port that will
not work at 115.2 kilobaud, or for those who may desire to use long
   cables (over 30 feet).

3) Mass overwrite prompt at the beginning of each transfer session when
more than one file is tagged for transfer.

4) Automatic cursor-down when a file is tagged for transfer.

The previous versions of XPORT (1.1 and 1.2) were maintenance
releases addressing minor problems in certain operational modes, and
the displays.

Also included in this package is XCLONE.COM, which provides the
ability to copy XPORT.EXE to a system with an incompatible disk size
or format.

Please read XPORT.DOC and XCLONE.DOC for further information.

If you use XPORT, please consider registering. The product has
been available since February, and to date (July 31, 1989), I have
received FOUR registrations from outside Louisville! The only feedback
I've received about this product is from local users, and the four out-of-
town registered users, all of whom have expressed great satisfaction with
it. I'm still pretty much in the dark as to what other features may make
it more acceptable (and therefore worthy of registration) to the rest of
the users. However, if you do register, the version you will receive
will include additional goodies.

Also, as features are added, I will inform my registered users of
the upgrades. The most that I would ask is compensation for postage,
handling, and the disk, about $3.00.

If you received this copy from one of the commercial shareware
distributors, you should know that I am not compensated in any way by
such distributors. The price you paid to obtain this program was a
materials and handling fee charged by the distributor. I get none of it.

Please be assured that I appreciate your willingness to evaluate
this product. Special thanks go to all of the bulletin board operators
who do such a remarkable job serving as the distribution channel for all
shareware products.

Thank you in advance for your support.
