        This is a shareware distribution disk for FAMILY  TREE  JOURNAL.
        It  contains  all  of  the  program  files  necessary  for  full
        operation.

        There is also an optional UTILITIES disk that contains some  ad-
        ditional  features.  If  you do not have the UTILITIES disk, the
        main menu selections for  the  ADDRESS  BOOK  and  MISCELLENAOUS
        UTILITIES will not be available.

        You  may  input  information  for up to 32767 family members and
        produce books based on this information in a variety of formats.
        These  books  make unique gifts and are sure to become the topic
        of conversation at many family gatherings.




                          STARTING FAMILY TREE JOURNAL

        Use the normal procedure  to  bring  your  computer  up  to  the
        prompt.  Insert  the  FAMILY  TREE JOURNAL disk into drive A and
        type A:<ENTER>.

                Type:

                      FTREE<ENTER>

        You will be asked if you would like to print instructions. These
        instructions  will  provide  details  on  the  operation  of the
        program.

        I think you will find FAMILY  TREE  JOURNAL  to  be  the  finest
        genealogy  program  available  on  the  market.  If you have any
        problems or suggestions, please write or call after 5:00PM EST.
