                             By: W.B. Anderson

Every Other Page is a print utility that does just what the title
says. It prints every other page on any available printer which
is IBM compatible. I got tired of wasting all of that paper when
I made a hard copy of a long text file. Also, I like to put my
printed documents in some kind of binder. So, this utility prints
odd pages on one side of the document and even pages on the back
side of the same document. The binder then reads like a book.

Lets go through what I call a Walk through. This will tell you
step by step, how to use this utility.

              1. E.O.P. displays a printer printing out 2 pages of
documentation. Hit the Enter key when this portion
                 of the program is done.

              2. Next, you will be asked if you want a directory
listing from a drive. If you answer yes, then a
prompt will appear and you will be asked to enter a
drive letter with a colon. If you answer with a
drive that is not present in your system, the
program will return to the operating system.

              3. You will now be asked to enter a file name. You MUST
enter the DRIVE letter with the COLON and then enter
the file name with the extension. The file name can
include a directory and subdirectory before the file
                 name.
                 examples: (C:\FILES\MYFILES\MYTEXT.LET)
                           (B:\MYFILES\MYTEXT.LET)
                           (A:MYTEXT.LET)

              4. The program will ask you to make sure that your printer
is on. Press enter and the program will now print the
text file, starting at page 1, then printing page 3, 5,
etc. until the end of the file is reached.

              5. Next, you will have to turn the printed pages around so
that the PRINTED side faces you. Put them back into the
printer and press enter and every even page will be
printed (2,4,6, etc.) until the end of file has been
                 reached.

              6. The program will then ask if you want to print another
text file. If not, then you will return to the operating
                 system.

A registration fee is requested if you plan to use this utility.
The program is available on 3« or 5¬ inch disks and runs in MS-DOS 2.1
      or above.
