Introduction to the PC-Write Font Selector

To print the on-disk documentation for this program, enter these commands
at the DOS prompt:

COPY FONTMAN1.DOC PRN (Press Ctl C at any time to cancel printing.)
     COPY FONTMAN2.DOC PRN
     COPY FONTID.DOC PRN

The documentation tells you how to install and run these programs, and gives
some background on HP LaserJet soft fonts format as it relates to PC-Write.
The font selector program is named FONT. You can run it by just typing FONT
at the DOS command prompt. There are some command line options you may find
useful, given in the documentation. A second program, ID, converts the PR.DEF
file to "call by ID" format, which works better for many non-HP font files.

Besides this program (and PC-Write), you will need some soft font files.
There is a list of soft font suppliers in the documentation. Quicksoft
also has soft fonts available in our new catalog of add-on products.
If you would like a copy of this catalog, call us at (206) 282-0452.
