Inspite of the skepticism with which this first text will be greeted, 
     BY THOSE WHO WILL NOT SIT DOWN AND TAKE THE NECESSARY TIME TO COMPUTE 
     THE STATISTICS QUOTED HEREIN, ˙the systems described herein have been 
     hardware tested and work - better that you expect! [HARDWARE DOES NOT 
     LIE, ˙IT WORKS OR IT DOESN'T.]  I am not offering THE GOOD OLD FAMIL
     IAR THINGS. I can write from now until doomsday but if you do not take 
     the ˙time ˙and EFFORT to read what I have written, ˙my time has ˙been 
     totally wasted. 
     
     Book 1, which you are about to read is the result of writing the same 
     material many times over. ˙I ˙have had no help in this effort and ˙am 
     tired ˙of ˙correcting and rewriting the same material time ˙and ˙time 
     again. So if you find typos just remember I am my own and only proof-
     reader. Write me and tell me know in which paragraph of which chapter 
     you found it or them, and I will correct them ASAP. 
     
     There ˙may be material which you find obscure or confusing. ˙Tell ˙me 
     about it. ˙If it's the result of something I wrote badly then it must 
     be ˙re-writen CLEARLY. ˙If it is an individual problem, ˙and you ˙are 
     registered with with me, I will try to straighten out your problem.
