    This  diskette contains version 1.12 of the BASIC Necessities
Program Development System.  This software package is being
distributed as "user supported software."  This means you can get
a copy of by copying this diskette from someone who already has
it, or by sending me a blank, double-sided diskette and a
pre-addressed, postpaid mailer.  (Sorry, no exceptions to this
rule.)

    As payment for this software, a voluntary contibution of $25
is being accepted.  Contribution is entirely voluntary.  Try this
package out and see if it meets your needs before you contribute
anything.  In return for your contribution I will send you a
complete (50+ pages) manual that gives detailed tutorial and
reference information about the package. If you wish to be made

    The supplied documentation for the package is in three text
files, SB.DOC (for the preprocessor), ED.DOC (for the text




editor), and UTIL.DOC (for the debugger and miscellaneous
utilities).  These files are intended to be brief summaries of
operation and notice of known bugs.  You can get a hard copy of
these files by using the MS DOS COPY command as follows:
