THE JANUARY PATCH LIST WITH CHEATS AND EDITORS

This month's list of patches from Tom McDonald's ^BExtended Play^b column
for January (found on page 230) are broken down into two sections.

Section 1 includes the Bug Patches
Section 2 includes new Editors and Cheats

  Installation Note: To install these patches, enter the \PATCHES     
  subdirectory on our demo disc. You'll need to copy each patch into  
  each games appropriate directory on your hard drive. You'll need    
  to have a version of PKUNZIP to unzip most of these patches.

^BSECTION 1 - Patches^b

^UBurid in Time v.1.04 (BIT31UPD.ZIP):^u Includes new 16-bit Windows    
executables, fiixes the exploding wall problem in Chateau Galliard
and the Alien Hallway lock-up. Various other portions of the code
have been enhanced for better performance.

^UFlight Commander 2 v.1.04 (FC2PAT.EXE):^u General maintenance patch.

^UHeroes of Might and Magic v.1.2 (HPATCH12.EXE):^u Improves compatability
with some sound cards and memory configurations, and also resolves a
dialing problem with some modems.

^UMechWarrior 2 (MW2GIDDI.EXE):^u Joystick Drivers Update provides non-
interupt-based drivers that clear up many joystick problems.

Warlords II Deluxe General Maintenance Patches:
     W2DP20.ZIP goes from version 2.0 to 2.3
     W2DP22.ZIP goes from version 2.1 to 2.3
     W2D222.ZIP goes from version 2.2 to 2.3

^BSECTION 2 - Editors & Cheats^b

^UArmored Fist Editor (WEASEL20.ZIP):^u Modifies campaigns to unlock 
missions so you can overcome the hard ones and move on.

^UCommand & Conquer Money Editor (UGE10.ZIP):^u Gives you the parameters
needed to increase your money.

^UCommand & Conquer (CCMIS.ZIP):^u Use this file to go to any mission
in the game.

^UCommand & Conquer (CCEDIT):^u Use this to change the price of soldiers,
vehicles, and buildings and the power requirements and output for
all structures. But the best part is changing what weapons soldiers
and vehicles get.

^UDescent: Devil Level Editor (DEVIL102.ZIP):^u This is version 1.02
of Devil, a level editor requiring the registered version of Descent
and a math coprocessor.

^UJagged Alliance Editor (JAEDIT.ZIP):^u Lets you increase the abilities
of your mercs up to 125, get all available weapons, repair all items
in the general inventory, change the names of your soldiers, get more
money, etc.

^UMaster of Magic Editor (EDMOM.ZIP):^u Allows you to modify known/learnable
spells for human and computer players, and edit cities, gold, mana,
heroes, items and other stuff.

^UMechwarrior 2 MechEditor (MCHEDT10.ZIP):^u Improve and modify Mech specs.

^UPanzer General Map Editor (PANZSEDT.ZIP):^u Allows you to update maps,
startup troops and more.

^UTowerCheat v.1.00 (TOWERCHT.ZIP):^u A Windows 3.1 program for SimTower
lets you modify saved-game files for more money and stars.


As with all these patches, make sure you have your original files backed up
