What's Inside Pipeline USA  
  
After signing on to Pipeline USA, the Internet is at your fingertips.  
  
World Wide Web ("The Web")  
  
The hottest feature on the Internet is "The Web".  Pictures, photos, 
graphics, and text are combined on Web pages (also called URLs) to 
provide an  appealing way to view information and interact with what's   
on your screen.  
  
Click on the spider web icon to reach the Web.  
  
Electronic Mail  
  
As a Pipeline USA subscriber, you are issued your own electronic mail 
address.  You can compose and send electronic mail messages to anyone
else connected to Internet and read mail sent to your Pipeline USA address.  
  
Click on the mailbox icon to read or compose electronic mail messages.  
    
News Groups  
  
Explore the hundreds of News Groups that proliferate the Internet.  
Interested in a specific subject? Chances are very good that a news group 
already exists for you to share your views and benefit from the views and 
advice of others.  
  
There are two Pipeline specific News Groups.  The psi.pipelineusa.help 
group answers your questions about Pipeline USA.  The psi.pipelineusa.chat 
group is a free form forum for you to share with other  
Pipeline USA subscribers.  
  
Click on the newspaper icon to get to news groups.  
  
Exploring the Internet  
  
The Internet is by all definitions enormous, and it's growing everyday.  
Luckily there are reference guides and tools to help you find what you 
are looking for.  
  
Search tools with names like "Veronica", "Archie", "Jughead", and "Gopher" 
are invaluable for helping you find information.  They are all available 
through Pipeline USA.  
  
Click on the question mark icon or on the menu items titled, "The Internet:
Guides and Tools" and "Reference and General Information".  
  
Financial Services  
  
Are you interested in finding out how your investments are doing at any 
time of the day or night?  How about hearing the latest from the world 
of commerce or getting free tax help?  It is all on the Internet and   
it is all in front of you via Pipeline USA.  
  
Click on the menu item titled, "Business, Finance and Your Money".  
  
Entertainment  
  
The Internet is attracting more and more attention each day from the world 
of Arts, Leisure, and Entertainment.  You can find TV guides, music lyrics,
sports team schedules, movie reviews, food recipes, and much more.  View
your favorite works of art right on your computer screen.  Pipeline USA 
makes it easy.

APPLICATION NOTES  
  
If you are using smartdrive without the /x option, you may encounter some 
errors with directory and file creation when using the user interface.  
This is known problem and a fix is forthcoming. The temporary workaround 
is to use smartdrive with the /x option.  
 
Certain video drivers may have more color depth than can be supported 
by the Pipeline USA program. This may result in "V300" errors. To 
eliminate "V300" errors due to video color depth, reduce the color 
depth of the video driver to 256 colors or less.
