THE NOVEMER PATCH LIST

Here are the game patches that appear in Tom McDonald's Extended Play 
column for November.

  Installation Note: To install these patches, enter the \PATCHES     
  subdirectory on our demo disc. You'll need to copy each patch into  
  each games appropriate directory on your hard drive. You'll need    
  to have a version of PKUNZIP to unzip most of these patches.

1830 (1830JUL.ZIP): The July Upgrade. This fixes a major bug with the C&SL 
railroad, which only occurs on the 1st turn, and dds V and G hot-keys to run 
on and off the city values and hex grids.

Dark Legion Critics Choice v.1.1 (CCDL11.EXE): General maintenance patch.

Dip and Twiddle v.1.0 (TWIDDLE.ZIP): Fixes problems with the PAS16 and
Diamond Stealth 32 boards, corrects "Invalid Twiddle" bug during final
dip sequences.

Dungeon Master II Sound Fix (DM2UP.EXE): General maintenance patch.

Flight Unlimited MM Beta Upgrade: We apologize that we were not able
to get this patch on the November CD. Look for it on December.

Flight Unlimited PAS16 Driver (PAS16.EXE): Contains a driver for the 
Pro Audio Spectrum 16 sound card.

Genie's Curse v.1.1: We apologize that we were not able to get this 
patch on the November CD. Look for it on December.

Hardball 4 Gameplay Patch (HB4FIX.ZIP): This patch introduces ten levels
of difficulty and brings a number of welcome repairs and fixes to the way
the game plays.

Hardball 4 Patch #1 (HB4PATCH.ZIP): Fixes little bugs in playability and
compatibility, particularly with the ATI Mach 64 video board.

Hardball 4 Acer Patch (ACER.ZIP): If you have an Acer motherboard, this
patch is essential for gameplay.

Harpoon 2 Update for June (H2DPTCH.ZIP): If you downloaded and ran the 
patch released in June which disabled video and audio, then you will need 
to run this update to restore the video and audio.

Magic Carpet Plus Maphack (MAPHACK.EXE): The Maphack program that was
inadvertently  left out of MC Plus.

MegaRace Packard Bell Update: We apologize that we were not able to get
this patch on the November CD. Look for it in December.

NASCAR Racing v.1.21 Modem Patch (NAS121.EXE): Only necessary if you're
having problems with modem play.

NBA Live '95 PAS Update (NBA-PA16.ZIP): Allows PAS 16 users to have sound.

Orion Conspiracy Beta Patch (ORIVESA.ZIP): Addresses problems with some 
Super VGA cards.

Power Poker Network Patch (POKER.ZIP): This patch provides network play
for Power Poker for Windows.

Renegade v.1.1 (JACOB.EXE): General maintenance patch.

Slipstream 5000 (SLIPATCH.ZIP): Fixes modem correction and command string
problems.

Tank Commander v.1.2 (TCV12.ZIP): Contains several fixes, including 
removing the sharing violation error and fixing the partial install routine.

The Last Bounty Hunter (BHSB8.EXE): Allows for proper operation of the
Save and Restore feature of the game (for sound cards that support basic
Sound Blaster only).

Top Ten Pak Upgrade (TOP10P.ZIP): For those getting the "DOS4GW error 35"
message when installing.

Virtual Pool Updated Drivers (VP0908.EXE): Still more driver fixes for VP.

As with all these patches, make sure you have your original files backed up 
in case you need to reinstall. PC Gamer will not accept any responsibility
