          {ARTISOFT ANNOUNCES OPENING OF NEW OFFICE IN 
          {GUADALAJARA, MEXICO

          {Debuted New Spanish LANtastic(R) NOS in Mexico City 
          {Press Conference 

          (TUCSON,  Ariz. --  June  17,  1992)  --  Artisoft,    Inc.,  the
          Tucson-based  developer  and  manufacturer of  the  award-winning
          LANtastic Local Area Network recently held a  press conference in
          Mexico  City to announce that it has established a Latin American
          office  in  Guadalajara,  Mexico.  The  Spanish  version  of  the
          LANtastic network,  scheduled for  release this summer,  was also
          demonstrated.

          The  LANtastic  network  is  recognized  as  the  leader  in  the
          DOS-based  peer-to-peer  network  market  and  has  won  numerous
          industry awards for its cost-effective  features, performance and
          ease  of  use. It  allows up  to  300 users  of IBM(R)-compatible
          computers to connect and share information and peripheral devices
          such as  printers, hard drives and CD-ROMs. The LANtastic network
          and  Artisoft's other  connectivity  products are  distributed in
          over 70 countries worldwide.
