{Slotless Ethernet connectivity for PCs and peripherals

The Artisoft Central Station connectivity processor is a LAN port
for quickly docking portables and peripherals. It adds expansion
flexibility without taking up a valuable slot in your computer.

Bring a laptop from the field and plug it into the Central
Station PC port. The connection provides full access to the
network, and disconnects without a crash or even a ripple in
network traffic. Need a printout from your notebook computer?
Simply connect the notebook to Central Station and you're part
of the office network. You're ready for hard copy on the network
printer. When the job is done, disconnect the notebook without a
          fuss.

Bring in a temporary workstation to handle an overload. Instead
of wasting time reconfiguring your network, just plug the extra
computer into the Central Station connectivity processor.

Flexible connections are what the Central Station connectivity
processor is all about. Now you can connect more peripherals to
your LANtastic or NetWare network and switch between them quickly
          and easily.

On its front panel, Central Station LEDs monitor and display
connections with the PC, parallel and serial ports, as well as
          the network.

The secret to the Central Station platform is its onboard memory
which stores, redeploys and adds capabilities. These can be
modified and upgraded through StationWare applications designed
specifically for the Central Station platform and sold
          separately.

The Central Station connectivity processor is revolutionary in
its ability to surpass the limitations in otherwise similar
products. It multiplies the expandability of both PCs and
networks, and does so without using a valuable PC slot. It makes
using a portable computer more practical than ever, and allows
new peripherals to join the network.

The Central Station processor has a mind of its own that allows
it to operate independently of the PC, and run StationWare
software that will endow it with new and ever-increasing
          capabilities.
