          {ARTISOFT WINS "INNOVATOR OF  THE YEAR" AWARD FOR  ITS  LANTASTIC 
          {NETWORK

          (TUCSON, Ariz. -- December 6, 1991) -- Artisoft, Inc.,  announced
          today that  its  LANtastic  Local Area  Network  was  awarded  an
          Innovator of  the Year  Award for  Computer/Software  Innovation.
          Artisoft's Founder, President and CEO, C. John Schoof II accepted
          the award at  the  Arizona  Innovation  Network's  Second  Annual
          Awards Presentation December 4 at The Buttes in Phoenix.

          Artisoft develops and  manufactures a full  line of hardware  and
          software  for local  area networks, including the LANtastic Local
          Area Network. The LANtastic Network  is  the  leading   DOS-based
          peer-to-peer network and has won numerous industry awards for its
          cost-effective  features, performance, and ease of use. It allows
