PEG-NET Rules and Regulations (Updated 06-03-95)

Theses are the current rules and regulations for PRG-NET. They are subject to
change as the Administration grows and as need arises. A more formal list of
rules and our policy will be established when we have a full administration.

1> All Hubs and Nodes must carry the PRG-NET Administrators Conference

2> You must be able to accept QWK mail from either your BBS software
or a 3rd Party DOOR. You must also have a registered version of any of
the programs you use to export and import mail and QWK packets.

Exception: You are allowed to use an evaluation program (Shareware) for
a period not to exceed that of the author's.

3> Mail packets are to be sent to your hub on at least a 3 day basis until
the net gets going ie Monday/Wednesday/Friday. After the net is going a
nightly echo mail run must be attempted.

4> Nodes are required to forward to their Hub any and all net applications,
complaints (whether they be about your system or not) and conference
request. Node should try to send these with in 24 hours of receiving
them (Sooner if the Node SysOp wants)

5> Hubs are required to forward to the Host system all applications and
complaints (same as above) and any conference addition request.
Hubs should make every possible attemp to get applications to the Host
as soon as they can but at least within 24 hours.

6> Abusive/Illegal behavior is not tolerated and will result in your system
being dropped. It is up to the moderators to monitor for users that abuse
conferences in the echo. Abusive/Illegal behavior includes but is not
limited to: Obscene language used toward others, hacking, pirating
software, virus development and other activties that may be deemed
    undesirable by the administration.

For now these are the only rules, see PINFO.TXT for more information.
