What is PRG-NET (What type of Echo?)

The purpose of PRG-NET is to echo conferences primarily related to programming
and programmers. It provides areas for discussing language orientated issues,
issues regarding PCBoard PPL programming, and DataBoss Applications.

Since this is a new system it is open to all applicants. Applications are
reviewed by the Host system as soon as they are received. Applications can
be uploaded to any system listed in NODEINFO.TXT.

We are also opened to the addition of conferences requested by SysOp's and
users alike. To request a conference addition just check the box on the
application and uploaded it to a system in the NODEINFO.TXT file.

PRG-NET is new. I mean totally new and may never get off the ground. At the
time of this writing it consist of the Host system and one Node. (Of course
you can see this in the NODEINFO.TXT)

Since this is a new Echo system we have openings for Hubs, Nodes, and
Administrators/Moderators. Just check which one you are applying for on the
 application NODEAPP.APP

To help in avoiding duplication of applications systems that upload there
application should use the form of BBBDDMM.APP where BBB is 3 letters
from your BBS Name, DD is the day, MM is the month and N is an indicator
of one of the following (A - Applying for Administrator, M - Applying for
Moderator, H - HUB, N - Node, C - Conference request.) the APP is for
the type of file that the system you upload it to accepts.

This file and all those related to it can always be found on HUBS and
NODES as PRGNTMM#.ZIP where MM is the month and # is the update of that
 month.
