What is a Regional ?

Regional Co-ordinator is a bbs system which transfer mails to and from
individual nodes, Hosts and International Co-ordinator. So we expect
that there will be requests from certain systems to act as a Regional
Co-ordinator for their own country. If their country has a large
population, they may have more then one Regionals.

Requirements for Regional Co-ordinator:-

1. Regional Co-ordinators must be operating a Bulletin Board System
     (BBS).

2. Regional Co-ordinators must be able to ensure 24 hour service with
Front-End Mailer or Telnet capability so as to ensure a smooth mail
     flow.

3. Regional Co-ordinators must transfer mails at least twice a week.

4. Regional Co-ordinators must be able to produce the nodelist of
their region and send in the nodelist when there are any changes.

We would hope that Regionals would spread the word about the Network -
and bring others into it. That would be one of the prime purposes of a
regional.
