REMINDER PROMPT - To be used with Sunrise Doors' REMIND ME Door. This
is a PPE which displays a prompt to the user "Please Wait! Checking for
Reminders!" giving a reason for the pause if you are using REMIND ME in
Log On Mode. The pause is especially noticable to low speed users.

Also, can make REMIND ME Log On check Security Specific.

  INSTRUCTIONS:

Of course, you must have Sunrise Doors REMIND ME door installed and
you must be using PCBoard 15.0.

   1. Edit the REMLOGIN batch file according to the REMIND ME instructions,
and add the .BAT extension. (If you already have a REMLOGIN batch file, just add the extension.)

   2. Place REMLOGIN.BAT in your PCB directory.

   3. Copy REMPMT.PPE into the directory in which you keep your PPEs. (I use
C:\PCB\PPE, so I will use this in the instructions!)

   4. To activate the REMIND ME Log On check, add the PPE command to your
$$LOGON.BAT file if you want the REMIND ME Log On check to activate
for all security levels. I.E. !C:\PCB\PPE\REMPMT.PPE (Make sure the Exclamation point is there, and make sure it is in the first column!)

   5. If you want the REMIND ME Log On check to be Security Specific, add
PPE command to your SECURITY files. I.E. if you want the Log On check Security 30, add !C:\PCB\PPE\REMPMT.PPE to your C:\PCB\SECURITY\30
file. (Also add it to your 30G file, if you have ANSI and ASCII Security files.) Repeat this for each Security Level for which you want the REMIND ME Log On check activated.

   6. If you are currently using REMLOGIN as a Login Door, activate PCBSETUP and choose Main Board Configuration. Select your DOORS.LST file, press F2 to edit. Highlight REMLOGIN and press Alt-D to delete it. You will
not need it in your DOORS.LST file.

That's all there is to it. Now, during Login, Users will see the prompt "Please Wait! Checking for Reminders!" while the REMIND ME door is
opened to check for Reminders. If there IS a reminder, it will be displayed.
If there is NO reminder, the login procedure will proceed.

I created this PPE because of several of my users who are impatient, and did not know what was going on while the system opened and closed the REMIND ME door to check for reminders. They started pumping the <enter> key, and many times, forced PCBoard to drop carrier because of excessive Command Prompt errors. This, at least, tells them what's happening while the system is pausing.

NOTE: Make sure your REMLOGIN.BAT file is in your PCB root directory, and make sure PCB is in your path or the PPE won't work!
