This is a file created by Joe Siegler, SysOp of
AOF II:The Next Dimension PCBoard, FidoNET 1:273/928.

It's a quickie setup on getting yourself ready to go with FidoNET
on PCBoard. PCBoard isn't the easiest thing to get going, and
I'm not the best docs writer, but I'll try anyway.

These are the following programs I use to hook my PCBoard into
FidoNET.

AFRAID.ZIP is a text file written by my Net Hub on programs that
your hub uses to know what conferences you want to
run on your BBS. This will only apply when you're
               setup.

BEXE_240.ZIP BinkleyTERM V2.40 Executables

BONK117D.ZIP NodeList/OutBound Mail Editor.

IP131.ZIP Program to actually take the .MSG FidoNET Messages
               and insert them into PCBoard

OPMED300.ZIP NetMail Reader. This could also be used to read
the messages on your BBS w/o entering the BBS, but
I don't use it that way, so I won't bother
               explaining that.

POLICY4.ZIP Not an actual program, but POLICY4.ZIP is a file
               explaining FidoNET Policies and rules.

QM_100.ZIP Qmail V1.00. This is not to be confused with
Sparky's Qmail4 Door, or Qmail Deluxe offline
reader. This is the program that takes the
incoming packets and turns them into .MSG files
(which InterPCB then puts into PCBoard)

SYSNL314.LZH SysNl NodeList Compiler. I used to use XLAX, but
when I saw this, I was stunned on how much better
this is. This is INCREDIBLY fast, and if used in
a batch file properly, you never need to compile a
nodelist again! (The nodelist that this produces
and the other files that go with the nodelist
currently take up about 2.9 Megs on my Hard Drive)

VIBM_110.ZIP Video Fossil. THis is needed by BInkleyTERM if
you want to have colour on your local end.

X00V124.ZIP Communications Fossil. I don't know if this is
truly needed, but I needed it on my end.

I originally was going to put all these files inside the ZIP, but
I decided that if you wanted them, you could try getting them
locally, and save some long distance charges. You can also Freq
any of them from me at 1:273/928.

Here's a copy of my directory tree for the FidoNET Stuff that
will apply to this (I included my PCBoard part of the tree as
well, but that's not really needed)

Bexe_240.ZIP goes in c:\binkley
BONK117D.ZIP goes in c:\bonk (but could really go anywhere)
IP131.ZIP goes in c:\binkley
OPMED300.ZIP goes in c:\binkley\opmed
QM_100.ZIP goes in c:\binkley
SYSNL314.LZH goes in c:\binkley

X00V124.ZIP is in my DOS directory and is in CONFIG.SYS with the
command line of...
device=x00.sys 2 e b,1,19200 t=256 r=2048  (the 2 in there is for
                                            com port 2)

VIBM_110.ZIP & X00V124 I have in my DOS directory, and is loaded
in AUTOEXEC.BAT, as once it's loaded, you don't need to bother
with it anymore.

====================================================================
Batch Files.

The Batch files are the real heart of this program. BinkleyTERM
does almost all it's REAL work in the batch files, and they're
rather important to the proper execution of your board.

I've included all my batch files in this ZIP, and I've added
comments in them to help explain what they do, and in some cases,
how you can change them around to suit yourself.

====================================================================
I can never do this thing justice in the text file as to how to
set everything up, so if you want, netmail me, and we can set up
a time where you can call me on the phone and I'll talk ya though
setting the thing up on your end.
