RightOn 2.1 August 10, 1993 Steve McCarthy ============================================================ For complete information on how to install and run RightOn, see the online help file righton.hlp. ============================================================ What is RightOn 2.1? RightOn is a Windows 3.1 utility which allows you to program your right and middle mouse buttons to behave like the keyboard sending a keystroke to an application or as a left-mouse double-click event. Because it uses functions new since Windows 3.1, RightOn will not work with versions of Windows before 3.1. What's new in version 2.1? * Left-mouse double-clicks work more consistently. * Clicking right mouse button in the title bar of a non-excluded application sends the window to the bottom of the window stack. * Ability to exclude the Windows Desktop. * RightOn is no longer sensitive to extra blanks when specifying applications to exclude. What files should I have? The distribution .zip file contains the following files: register.wri Windows Write file to register your copy readme.txt this file righton.exe executable file righton.hlp Windows 3.1 compatible help file trmbu.dll required library ctl3d.dll required library Installation: Installation of RightOn is a snap! Simply create a directory, such as C:\RIGHTON, and place all the files in it. With the possible exception of the CTL3D.DLL file, it is important to keep the files together in the same directory. (See below) Though not mandatory, the CTL3D.DLL library should be copied to your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. See topic "Installation" in the online help file.
