ELPL RULES(Exec-PC Links386 Pro League) July 20, 1993 Welcome to the ELPL: The ELPL is a newly formed scratch and handicap league for the owners or Links386 Pro from Access software. There are no prizes to play for. This league is being formed for people who enjoy playing the best sports simulation game on the market Links386 Pro. The league must have a minimum of 8 golfers to start. The first season will consist of 12 weeks(one week for each course out). The season will be extended if a new course is released before week 8. There will be 3 rounds per week on a selected course picked at random. Here is the step by step procedure for playing in the ELPL: 1. Sunday evening 9:30 cst a meeting will be held in Door G in the Online Chat Area. All members are encouraged to attend. At this meeting the results of the previous week is given along with the course to be used the following week. This is the time when any concerns about the rules or anything else is discussed. This is a democratic league. This means anything about this league can be changed with a majority vote. Anyone who cannot attend this meeting will be e-mailed next weeks course to be played. Practicing on the course chosen for play is allowed until Monday midnight. 2. Monday midnight or before, I will send a message containing tee used and shirt color for round 1. Your recorded game must be attached to this message by TUESDAY MIDNIGHT. I know this is hard to control but please play only one tournament round. You can practice on any other course but when you start your round FINISH IT and USE IT. Special shots(listed below) also must be uploaded with recorded game to qualify for money. Please zip your recorded game with your special shots. If recorded game is all you have, you don't need to zip it. 3. Wednesday midnight or before. Same as Monday except Leaderboard after round 1 will be included. Round 2 is due by THURSDAY MIDNIGHT. 4. Friday midnight or before. Same as Wednesday. Round 2 leaderboard will be included. Round 3 is due by SATURDAY MIDNIGHT. After each tournament, all recorded games and saved shots will be zipped together and uploaded to M section of Dos library for everyone to download. Also stats will be compiled and uploaded to each member. Also will keep a best round list for each member on each course. This includes tournament play and practice. To qualify you must upload your recorded game to me(practice only). I will zip everybody's best(Bartbest.zip for example) and upload to M section of Library after each season or on request. Will have a best round list for the Black/Blue tees and the White/Red tees. After each course is played once, The leader of the scratch and the handicap division will be announced. We will go by the following money system to determine our champions: 1st Place 100,000.00 11th Place 10,000.00 Scratch and Handicap 2nd Place 75,000.00 12th Place 9,000.00 divisions use the same 3rd Place 60,000.00 13th Place 8,000.00 money system. 4th Place 45,000.00 14th Place 7,000.00 5th Place 35,000.00 15th Place 6,000.00 6th Place 25,000.00 16th Place 5,000.00 7th Place 20,000.00 17th Place 4,000.00 8th Place 15,000.00 18th Place 3,000.00 9th Place 13,000.00 19th Place 2,000.00 10th Place 11,000.00 20th Place 1,000.00 Special Bonus monies will be given for the following special shots 1. Hole in One 10,000.00 Hole in one on Par 4 counts 2. Double Eagle 10,000.00 once for 10,000.00 3. Any full swing shot in hole 7,500.00 4. >70 ft putt in hole 5,000.00 5. Any Chip shot in hole 2,500.00 All games will be saved by the following format: S1W1DJJ1.REC S1=Season 1 W1=Week 1 S1W1DJJ2.REC DJJ=My initials S1W1DJJ3.REC 1=round # Special shots will be saved by the following format: S1W1DJJ1.SHT All the same except 1=saved shot #1 If you have your recorded game and a saved shot, please PKZIP into 1 file named S1W1DJJ1.ZIP for example.
