SwatM Jr for Windows

Introduction

SwatM Jr is a game for children that helps teach hand/eye coordination,
reasoning skills, and how to use the mouse properly while they swat at
various objects that appear on the screen. To top it off they can also
have some fun!

Ages

SwatM Jr is designed specifically to be a slower game played by younger
children or those with learning disabilities. The orginal SwatM is
designed as a faster paced game for older children.


How To Play

The purpose is to move the mouse pointer over the objects that appear on
the screen and click on them with the left mouse button before the object
disappears. The more you get in a 30 second time period the higher your
score will be.

Variety

You can choose from 16 different type of objects to swat.

Difficulty

The difficulty level can be changed by adjusting the speed of the game
and also the number of objects that can be displayed on the screen.

Installation

Using Pkunzip version 2.04g, unzip the SwatMJr.ZIP file. You will find
the following files.

READSWJR.TXT - This file
SWATMJR.EXE - The program

What is needed to run SwatM Jr?

Most importantly you will need Windows 3.1.

You will also need the Visual Basic Runtime module. This file is named
VBRUN300.DLL. This file is available from most BBS's.

What if it doesn't run?

If you are running this on a 386sx you will need to make sure that you
have the latest version of the Runtime module. The first version that
Microsoft put out had problems running on 386sx's.
