CONNECT MAGAZINE CARRIED BY COMPUSA, COMPUTER CITY AND SOFTWARE ETC.

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (July 23, 1993) -- Beginning with the July/August '93
issue, which is available on newsstands now, CONNECT magazine can be found
on the shelves of CompUSA, Computer City and Software Etc. stores
nationwide.

"We're very pleased to announce these additional outlets for CONNECT," said
Patricia Snyder-Rayl, the magazine's managing editor. "These additions,
along with availability of CONNECT from magazine wholesalers in the U.S. and
Canada, will make it even easier for people to find CONNECT locally."

CONNECT is also authorized for distribution to all B.Dalton Bookseller,
Bookstop, Bookstar, Barnes & Noble, Doubleday, Scribner's, Crown Books,
Tower Books, Little Professor, Lichtman's News and Books, and Coles Book
Stores chains, as well as other chains and independent newsstands and book
stores. "If you don't see CONNECT on the shelves of your local bookstore,"
Snyder-Rayl points out, "be sure to ask the clerk to carry the magazine for
you."

CONNECT is a bi-monthly magazine covering the major commercial online
services (such as America Online, BIX, CompuServe, DELPHI, GEnie and
Prodigy), the Internet, and bulletin board system networks (such as Fidonet,
WWIVnet, and GlobalNet). The magazine is platform-independent, with separate
columns focusing on PC-specific (DOS and Windows), Macintosh-oriented, and
Palmtop/PDA-related topics. Each issue also contains an editorial column by
renowned telecomputing author Michael A. Banks. CONNECT currently has a
bi-monthly circulation of 65,000.
