                               ForceNET Policy

ķ
  Policy Information?
Ľ

Put Simply ForceNet Policy is that there isn't a Policy or a set of rules
stating thou shall do that and thou shall not do that.
The only thing ForceNet has is a set of guidelines which are set out in this
document. But as it says.. "Guidelines", NOT rules, which are simply suggested
for the benefit of mail flow and ensuring the correct operation of FantasyNet.

fantasyNet as a whole simply believes that each person in fantasyNet is responsible
for their own actions and should adhere to the common principles of courtesy.

All nodes participating in ForceNet should always be fair and humane to other
nodes in the Network. In this way we are assured that ForceNet will not have
any disputes or problems in it's operation.

ForceNet is a network based on the ideals of democracy, freedom, fairness and
friendship.

As far as using an ALIAS in ForceNet goes, the use of them they are not
permitted in areas unless the ForceNet Echolisting says otherwise.

Should any technical resons prevent a system from using a dual
naming system (Real Name/Alias) then that system may send messages into
ForceNet using an alias ONLY IF the message is signed using the Full
Real Name and the ALIAS being used is acceptable to FantasyNet.
This exception is for systems that because of their setup are unable to
distinguish between dual names and should not be used for any other use.

Although ForceNet could grow to encompass the four corners of the world,
including many cultures and languages, the official language of ForceNet is
English.
