To monitor your computer's network or disk access
1    On the Edit menu, click Add Item.
2    In the Category list, click the category of feature you want
to monitor. 
3    In the Item list, click the item or items you want to monitor.
Tip
     To view a definition of an item in the Item list, click the
item, and then click Explain.


To change the look of a chart
1    On the Edit menu, click Edit Item.
2    Double-click the item whose chart you want to change.
3    Make the changes you want. 
Notes
     You can only edit a chart that you are currently viewing.
     For Help on an item, click     at the top of the dialog box,
and then click the item.


Click Help Topics to return to the list of topics. 



Lists the types of information you can monitor.


Lists the items you can monitor. Click a category, and then click
an item. To see more information about an item, click Explain.


Provides an explanation of the selected item. If a category is
selected but an item is not, the explanation is for the first entry
in the Item list.


Specifies how often the charts are updated. 


 Shows the color used in the chart. 


Click this to choose a different color for the chart.

Changes the scale of the chart to fit the range of data displayed. 


Keeps the scale fixed, regardless of the maximum or minimum level
of the data displayed in the chart. To change the scale, type the
maximum value for the data in the Value box. 


Lists the charts that are currently displayed. To remove a chart
from the display window, click the name of the chart on this list.


Lists the charts that are currently displayed. To change a chart,
click the name of the chart on this list.


Provides a space for you to type the name of the computer you want
to monitor. 


 Use this setting to specify the maximum value for a chart that
uses a fixed scale.
