                     Amateur Radio Network (AR-Net)
World Premier Ham Radio Echo Mail Network

AR-Net is an exciting Ham Radio Echo Mail Network that is growing in
leaps and bounds. AR-Net was established in late February as the older
net RF-Net(tm) folded. Since then we have grown to over 50 nodes
connecting over 3000 hams. Although AR-Net is primarily oriented toward
Ham Radio, we also cover shortwave and citizen band topics. AR-Net is a
great niche net that covers the Ham Radio hobby with an exciting
conference line-up.

AR-Net conferences are now also being echoed into Europe, thanks to an
aliance with HamNet of Europe.

AR-Net would be a great addition to your BBS. Mail is transferred by
QWK and Fido methods. We hope to have an FTP method by late summer.

Finding out more about our net is pretty easy..

From my BBS after you have signed in, just type AR-NET at the prompt..
It will automagically DL the info packet for you.

For FIDO folks, you can FREQ magic name AR-NET for the info pack from
1:2619/216

For Information via Internet, send a message to AR-Net@woodybbs.com

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
