TALKAIDS requires Windows and a Soundblaster compatable audio card to
hear sample sounds included in this demo. If you do not have a sound card
available it is still possible to see the complete demonstration without
sound. You will receive a windows device driver error message if you do
not have a sound card. Simply click on "OK" and continue viewing the
program. This demo only provides a limited demonstration of what will be
available in the full program.
This demo assumes the hard drive is drive C. If your hard drive is
not C, use a text editor to replace the letter C of the install.bat file
with the letter of your hard drive.
To install, place this disk in your floppy drive. Move to that drive
& enter INSTALL & press the enter key. TALKAIDS will be copied to your hard
disk & extract. When installed, load windows. From the windows toolbar,
select the file option, then select run. In the command line box, enter:
     c:\talkaids\tbook talkaids
Press the enter key. TALKAIDS will load. Follow the directions. The demo
requires 10-15 minutes depending on your involvement.
To remove TALKAIDS, remove the TALKAIDS directory and its files
from your hard drive. Loading TALKAIDS does not change any of your files.
The disk contains an order form for a complete sound and non-sound
version entitled "Let's Talk About HIV/AIDS" (ordrfrm.txt). Enter ORDER.
This disk also has the CUSSN Directory list (disks.txt). Enter DISKS.
