Hi folks, my name is Raul A. Gallegos and here are a number of .set
files for use with Terminate by Bo Bendtsen.

These configurations work with Vocal-Eyes 3.0 ant Terminate 4.00.
They may work for Terminate 3.00 and earlier, but I have not tested
them. Also when using terminate, ***do not use blind friendly mode***
as when this is used the colors are changed and the .set files do not
work. Terminate is already pretty speech friendly, but these make it
even more so.

most alt keys have been assigned a name so when they are pressed,
the synthesizer will voice them. One example is alt-d for dialling
directory.

The status line is read by control-s.
Also, hyperactive window p has been made to look for Pine so that if
you have a shell account and use pine, the pine.set file will be
loaded. However, if you do not use pine or do not plan on using
pine.set, you should disable window p.

When calling up the dialling directory a new .set file is loaded
which makes the dialling directory talk better, this file is
te-fon.set. When you go into the mail system, a file te-point.set is
loaded. When you file transfer, te-files.set is loaded. The host mode
calls up te-host.set and the file commander calls up te-comm.set.

Included with Terminate is a off-line mail reader called TerMail. I
have also included .set files for this. tm.set and tm-msg.set. Tm.set
is the main .set file which calls up tm-msg.set when you read a message.
The arrows and < (less than) and > (greater than) keys have all been
defined to read window 1. Window 1 reads the sender, 2 reads the recipiant,
3 reads the subject and 4 reads the message. You can read the next
pages by hitting pgdn and pgup which has been assigned to read window 4.
alt 1-2-3-4 have remained the same so that if you need to hear the
from: to: subject: or message body again, you can hit those alt-key
combinations.

I am constantly working on improving these .set files. Feel free to
make any changes to your likings. If you have any suggestions,
comments, criticisms, or anything else to tell me, please write mail to:

Take care and happy communicating.
