You can use the supplied OSCAR configuration with Oscar 3.0A or
greater. It may also be used with earlier versions, but minor
changes may need to be made. The files are compatible with
Vocal-Eyes 3.0.

With autoloading enabled, which is the default, Vocal-Eyes will
automatically load the OSCSHEL0.SET file.

You can change any of the default values supplied here. This is
simply meant to get you started. The following commands can be
used:

All of the read hot keys work as described in the Vocal-Eyes
manual. For example, CTRL-B for previous character, CTRL-C for
current character and CTRL-D for next character. The same is
true for word, line, sentence and paragraph.

ALT-S -> This will read your status line. This is actually line
          25.

INSERT -> This will read your entire document from the cursor
position to the end of the document. This is the Read
To End hot key. To stop reading, press ESCAPE.

Oscar uses letter keys as cursoring keys, and these have been
added to the cursoring key menu. For example, e will move you
back one sentence and x will move you forward one sentence.

If you don't care for the particular placement of a hot key or
you don't like what a particular cursoring key is speaking, feel
free to change them to your liking.

When a menu is brought up, the OSCSHEL0.SET file actually calls
OSCARMEN.SET. This turns light bar tracking on and returns the
letter keys to their normal function.

Feel free to use the utility SET2TEXT to convert the supplied
.SET files into readable ASCII text files. This will allow you
to see the default settings.
