To whom it may concern:

1choice.cfg was designed on a 286 PC with a mono graphics board.
This defaulted the screen colors to black and white in First
Choice. Therefore if you have a color graphics card in your PC
that is CGA, EGA, Or VGA. After entering First Choice, you must
select ( set-up equipment ) by pressing #8 from the main menu in
First Choice. Then Press the #1 to select color or no color.
After that press #1 again to choose black and white.

Keys to remember.

Alt-insert, reads the status window ( line two ).
Left -shift & right-shift, reads window seven ( line 25 ) & window
#8 ( line 1 ) which is chained from window seven.
Control-Slash rereads and spells the misspelled word.
Alt-Slash, rereads the misspelled word.
Alt-Comma, rereads the suggested choice highlighted in the spell
checker. This key combination will also reread any of the menu
selections that you have moved your cursor to.

Note:
The Artic cursor is defined to the enhanced cursor pad, auto snap
is on, the tab key is set to read field data, and the function keys
have been labeled to match First Choice's options that appear on
line one.

Smart Zones:

Zone one, fires in a couple of instances. The primary condition is
designed for the spell checker. Secondly it also fires when you
pop into the main menu of First Choice.

Zone's two, three, four, eight and nine are designed to fire after
you press one of the function keys. It then will read the menu
that is presented to you.

Zone five, reads all help menus that appear after pressing function
key F1.

Zone six, fires after spell checking is completed and reads the
prompt, spell checking complete.

Smart Zone seven, monitors line twenty five. It fires when the
zone erases and then reads window five. This zone reads prompts
and menus that are not commonly run across by the user.

The last zone, ten, is the most active because it reads all the
menu selections to you as you cursor up and down. To reread the
choice you must press Alt comma.
