CASES, THE OLD VERSION OF THE FILE IS REPLACED BY A TEXT FILE STATING THAT A
NEWER FILE CAN BE FOUND IN LIBRARY 16 (Novell, New Uploads). UPLOADS ARE

UPDATE

PS2386.ZIP - The previous version of the PS2SCSI.DSK dated in November of
1990 was placed in this file as PS2OLD.ZIP. This was done
because in some cases the new PS2SCSI.DSK has problems in
		autobooting.

UPLOADS

TIM286.ZIP - This file contains the VAPTIME.VAP which synchronizes the
File Server date and time. This vap prevents servers from
		losing time.

 SHL302.ZIP - This file contains version 3.02 of the NET?.COM, EMSNET?.EXE
and XMSNET?.EXE shell files. This versions supersedes the
		3.01 version including all revisions A - E.

UPLOADS

PS2386.ZIP - The previous driver was reporting a Non-Media-Error when the
SCSI device returned a completion of 07 - Adapter Hardware
Failure and 0ch - Command Completed with failure. This would
result in deactivation of the SCSI device. This version of
the driver will retry when encountering the 0ch error rather
		than deactivating the device.

UPLOADS

 PSV110.ZIP - This file contains the Netware v3.0 PSERVER.NLM v1.10 .

SCBFIX.ZIP - SCANBFIX is a dynamic patch which is loaded at the file server
console as a NetWare Loadable Module. This patch fixes a
problem in NetWare 386 V3.10a. The API function call
ScanBinderyObject fails to properly recognize "?" as a wild
card. The failure was related to the size of the Bindery
name being searched for and the number of "?" wild card
characters (if greater than 12) entered in the search string.
Although those most likely to see this problem are application
developers using the ScanBinderyObject call, users of
applications developed with this call may see the error
message: Object could not be found.

UPDATES

IBMMEM.ZIP - Updated this file to include a NOTE in the readme about
running the reference disk after BOOTFIX has been applied.
If you do run reference you will need to apply BOOTFIX again.

UPLOADS

 SEC286.ZIP and
SEC386.ZIP - A very rare security shortcoming has been identified by
Novell. It has been fixed with these patches. For most
Novell customers who have intruder detection set on, this
security weakness will not pose a problem. Novell recommends
that all customers turn intruder detection on. If the
customer has greater concerns for security, this corrective
               patch should be applied.

SEC286.ZIP should only be applied to released copies of
NetWare 286 v2.15 rev C; any previous or subsequent versions
of 286-based NetWare do not have this problem and should not
have this program fix applied to them.

SEC386.ZIP should only be applied to released copies of
	       NetWare 386 v3.10 rev A.

UPLOADS

TB277.TXT - Technical Bulletin 277. Several patches have been released
for NetWare 386 v3.10 rev A. Patches for this version fall
under three classifications: dynamic, semi-static, and static.
Dynamic patches are .NLM files that can be loaded and unloaded
while the server is running. Semi-static patches can also be
loaded while the server is running, but they cannot be
unloaded. Static patches are DOS executable programs that make
               changes to the SERVER.EXE file.

 TB278.TXT - Technical Bulletin 278. Patches to NetWare 386 v3.10 rev. A
that are considered to be essential are: CACHEFIX, FIXOPEN,
PASSFIX, and WDOGFIX. Each of these patches should be loaded
at every installation of NetWare 386 v3.10 rev. A.

 TB279.TXT - Technical Bulletin 279. Patches to NetWare 386 v3.10 rev. A
which are considered to be special cases are: DELDIRFIX,
DELFIX, and DTTMFIX. Each of these patches correct a
particular problem or error in v3.10a.

TB280.TXT - Technical Bulletin 280. NetWare users who are upgrading to
386 v3.10 may need to upgrade their Novell Disk Coprocessor
Boards (DCB). NetWare 386 v3.10 was written to support the
latest in hardware technology. This includes DCBs with
revision E or higher of the DCB firmware. DCBs with firmware
revision D or earlier will not work with NetWare 386 v3.10.

TB281.TXT - Technical Bulletin 281. Several patches and enhancements have
been released for NetWare 286 v2.15 rev. C. These patches and
enhancements address invalid VIT errors, large drive support,
mirroring with optical drives, security, SPX connections, and
               VAP and volume errors.
